Mines Space

The space club of Mines Saint Etienne school

The club

The history of Mines Space began at the end of 2019, with the gathering of several students passionate about aerospace.
Driven by the ambition of some, the primary objective was to be able to participate in the construction of a probe rocket.
Faced with the size of this group, we decided to be more ambitious and to carry out a real project: the MARSAUT mission.

Passionate students

Our team is made up of people wishing to contribute during their engineering studies to aerospace projects.
This idea made it possible to bring together students from 4 fields of the Mines Saint Etienne school:

  • Civil Engineers of Mines - ICM
  • Embedded Electronic Systems Engineers - ISEE
  • Engineers in Energy Recovery - IVE
  • Engineers in Industrial Engineering - IGI
  • Various missions

The objective of our club is to provide human and technical resources to students wishing to carry out a project related to aerospace.
To date, two projects were realized, and one is in progress:

  • MARSAUT 0: Realization of a probe rocket
  • MARSAUT 1: Realization of a probe rocket
  • MSE: Realization of a probe rocket
  • Partners

To realize our projects, we are fortunate to be able to work with partners. Thanks to their financial participation, or the supply of quality materials and components, we can increase the scope of our projects.
